    Iain is a dynamic backrow forward who is a former pupil of Belfast Royal Academy. Iain entered the Ulster academy straight from school. Iain also represented Ireland U20s for two seasons and made his Ulster debut off the bench against Conancht in April 2012. He marked his first Ulster start against Munster, scoring a superb try and announcing himself on the senior stage.

    Blistering performances for Ulster have saw the young forward who is equally comfortable in the backrow or 2nd row, earn a call-up to the Ireland squad ahead of the Guinness November Series. Iain made his test debut as a replacement against South Africa in the opening game of that series
